ANOINTED FIGHTER MAGAZINE

Hey Kids this is Faith. Congradulations on completing your first belt in ChristJitsu. We are now going to start training on the subject of salvation. Before we get started with the workout, let's jump inside the Cage of Life and spar a few rounds while looking at 7 important questions.

Round # 1

What is sin?

God lays out his rules in the Bible. When we choose not to follow his rules, we sin against God. Read the following:

"Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins" (James 4:17).

Round # 2

Will God punish me for my sin?

Yes. When you choose to disobey God, you tap out your relationship with him and you loose your joy. Without God’s forgiveness, defeat continues after you die.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

Round # 3

Will God forgive me for my sin?

Yes. When you ask God for forgiveness and trust in the ChristJitsu Grandmaster, Jesus, your sins are tapped out by God.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

Round # 4

What does it mean to have faith in Jesus?

To have faith (or believe in) Jesus means trusting Jesus to save you from being knocked out and choosing to follow the Grandmasters’ example. By His behavior, Jesus showed us how to "fight the good fight" God’s way and how to follow God’s rules.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me" (John 14:1).
"We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are" (Acts 15:11).

Round # 5

How do I tell God I want to be an Anointed Fighter?

The Bible says that you must be sorry (repent) for your sins. You must pray to God in Jesus' name and ask God to forgive your sins. You must trust in Jesus to save you from being tapped out for eternity. Then you must promise to follow Jesus’ example and do your best to live in ways that honor God.

'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

"If you love me, you will obey what I command" (John 14:15).

Round # 6

Why do I need to be baptized?

The Grandmaster tells us we must be willing to show others that we are Anointed Fighters. Jesus was baptized when He began to teach others the art of ChristJitsu. When we follow Jesus’ example by being baptized, we show others that we have promised to live, train and "fight the good fight" by Jesus’ example.

"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven" (Matthew 10:32).

Round # 7

When do I join a church?

When you are baptized, you become a member of your church. The other Anointed Fighters in your church have also been baptized. Jesus said believers are to tell others about Him.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).

Remember kids, it is called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. KEEP FIGHTING!
