A chosen Fighter

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light”.
1 Peter 2:9


Do you ever feel like your fighting alone and nobody notices when you are knocked down? It is important that you begin seeing yourself as God sees you: “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life” (Isaiah 43:4).

Is your self-esteem being tapped out? When it does, remember you are a champion in Christ. “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will–to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves” ( Ephesians 1:4-6).

The challenge during the difficult rounds of the good fight is to remember that. To meditate on it. To focus on it. To allow his love to change the way you look at you.

Remember, it is called a fight for a reason. However, we fight from victory not for victory. Keep Fighting!
